Idle Hack: Itemization
When completing dungeons you will receive item rewards. The colors of the items indicate their rarity and their locations on the character indicate their type; only certain items can be placed into certain slots.
Item Types
All item types that drop in dungeons include the following:
Rarities
- Normal Spell/Skill - A book or pact that contains the knowledge to perform abilities in combat.
- Common - A basic item without any magical attributes.
- Uncommon - A basic item that contains at most 2 magical attributes.
- Rare - A valuable item that contains at least 2 magical attributes, but can roll more.
- Legendary - A very scarce item that has a special legendary item attribute that has the most powerful effects.
- Legendary Set - Legendary item that shows its true power if other legendaries are also equipped.
- Gemmed - A common item that has been socketed with at least one gem. See Gem Recipes for special combined gem effects.

Sockets
Equipment (weapons, helmets, chests) dropped in Idle Hack dungeons may have one or more socket slots. By purchasing ‘Socket Gem’ in the Shop, you can socket gems into equipment to integrate the effects of the gems. Once a gem is socketed, it cannot be removed from the equipment. Special socketing patterns can provide additional effect bonuses.
Common (white) items can get up to 4 sockets and all other rarities can receive up to 2 sockets; charms cannot receive sockets.
