Idle Hack: Getting Started
Login or as guest
First, you can choose to log in/register or play as a guest. Registration does not require your email address, so please remember your username and password, as there is no way to recover them otherwise. If you don’t want to register right now, you can choose ‘Play as Guest,’ and you can register at any time in the game’s Settings. Note that if you choose the Guest mode, your progress will not be synchronized if you switch devices.
If you only want to experience the ‘Magic Find’ fun of Idle Hack, and you don’t need the social and trading aspects, then temporarily not registering is also an option.
If you register, choose to log in, and stay logged in, the game will automatically log you in each time you open it.

First hero
When you first create your account you will be greeted with the inventory screen.

Click on one of the “Create New Character” buttons to get your first character.

You should have your first character and see a healing spell book in your inventory like the picture above. Go ahead and drag and drop the Book of Self Heal into your character’s bottom row of item slots.

Explore the Dungeon
Now we’re ready for combat and to get some gear! Click on the “Dungeons” tab and notice all the different options - for your first run don’t worry about that and just click Start.

The auto play will begin and your character will battle against some rats. If you happen to lose, don’t worry (sometimes your team can get overwhelmed) and just start another dungeon run. When you beat the dungeon you will see the rewards screen with new random loot that you found in the dungeon.

Level up your character
Go back to your inventory and equip any items that you can currently (some items require higher attributes obtained through leveling up). Go back to the Dungeons tab and keep battling until your character has leveled up! On your character’s loadout in the Inventory tab there is a “Stats” button. Click that to bring up all of your character’s info.

Notice how now there are ”+” buttons next to your character’s attributes. Allocate all your available attribute points how you would like (mousing over the Attribute name indicates how the Attribute modifies your character). Then click “Submit Attributes” to complete the point allocation.
Find more
Continue to play Dungeons and gather gear! On the Dungeons tab you can change the Dungeon Level higher as you get more comfortable - the higher the level the better the experience gained and better loot rewards. You can also toggle on “Auto Run” and your character will continually do dungeon runs until you decide to exit. It is suggested to stay in the Haunted Manor until you are higher level and feel comfortable tackling a harder challenge.
Once your main character reaches level 15 you will be able to obtain a second character and start building a team; you will gain another character every 10 levels after that.
There’s plenty of other content to explore in Idle Hack including Arena (PvP), Market (Player Buying/Selling) and the Shop (Extra Item Crafting Options); try out all of the different aspects. Eventually you will be strong enough to try to compete in the Dungeons and Arena leaderboards!
! Tip The best item attributes early on are Basic Attack Increases (any element), Health/Mana Regeneration Per Second and Physical Damage Resistances. Stack a lot of these stats to have really good early success.
