When socketing gems into items (go shopping for item socketing ) after using all sockets a socket recipe might be completed. If a socket recipe is reached then the item performs a transformation and adds in a legendary attribute! In order to complete a recipe the correct socketed based item is used, correct gems need to be socketed, and in the correct order without any extra sockets. See reference image below:

! Remember To finish a socket recipe the following has to be done: The correct base white item was used, no extra sockets exist and the gems are in the correct order.
