Gridle
Incremental idle RPG with party management.
Gridle is an incremental idle role-playing game where players manage a party of heroes to defeat waves of enemies. The core gameplay involves strategic decision-making such as upgrading, healing, reassigning, and leveling up party members to ensure optimal progression.
Initially, the game presents 50 defined levels to conquer, after which it transitions to infinite levels, providing a continuous challenge. The game features party management, allowing players to customize and optimize their team with powerful upgrades and abilities.
Players can also rebirth their party, unlocking over 190 unique knowledge upgrades to further boost the team’s power. Progression is designed to be endless, with players conquering the initial levels and then pushing through the infinite levels beyond, testing their strategic limits. The game offers idle gameplay, which means the party can continue to fight enemies passively, even when players are not actively playing.
The game’s mechanics involve managing a party by assigning classes, healing members, and upgrading them to defeat enemies. Enemies and party members positioned at the front are always the first to be attacked. Every level that ends with a 0 features a boss fight, and successfully defeating it will lead to the next world. Levels ending in 5 feature a mini-boss. Players can click on enemies to damage them directly or click on party members to heal them. There are four available classes: Knight, Archer, Mage and Miner. The Knight is designed to absorb damage and should be positioned at the front. The Archer specializes in dealing damage but is vulnerable, making it a glass cannon. The Mage is versatile, with spells that can crit, and can also heal party members with advanced knowledge. The Miner, unlike other party members, does not attack enemies and instead focuses on extracting gold. Players are advised to place one or two miners at the back of their party to maximize earnings. Rebirthing resets progress, but earns rebirth points based on the money earned previously. These rebirth points can instantly be spent on permanent knowledge upgrades after rebirth.

This game’s overall style reminds me of Clicker Heroes—both feature pixel art and progress through increasingly challenging dungeons. However, Gridle adds the fun of multi-class team combat.
